Gorst Road is a one-way street; the proposed Warehouse design layout has been designed in such a way the façade bears 2 roller shutter openings each measuring a width of 11.5m which would allow a 16m articulated truck to enter from the shutter at 50 Gorst Road and exit from the other roller shutter at 46 Gorst Road. Gorst Road is narrow and does not allow enough space for lorries and trucks to be loaded and un-loaded. The proposed design layout allows for minimum of two articulated lorries to be loaded / unloaded at the same time. This will avoid the queuing of lorries and trucks on Gorst Road.
